All old articles from theology at fether.net have moved to fether.net, a Wordpress blog which allows comments on articles and other features. Below is some light reading.

Think the Bible is tough to decipher? Have a look at this! These are verbatim quotes from message boards I've been in. Honest! (references not posted, but I do have them)

I seem to be saying two opposite things because we don't fully understand the Trinity but it is not something that I have to understand but it is something all of us should apprehend.
Re: your first question: I said it once earlier on this Forum, but I don't want to dwell on it, because I know that I am at variance with most persons here about this, and it is not an issue that I will discuss or debate here, but I do see hierarchical leadership in the NT church. I see organization, liturgy, and structure where I didn't used to. I don't want to discuss this here because 1) it's not a point I want to discuss, 2) it can only cause arguments, and 3) I'm not prepared to discuss it. That does not mean I disagree with most of y'all here, but we do diverge at this point, even though hopefully my divergence hasn't manifested itself too prominently or been a stumbling block. It's also one reason I do NOT mention the Orthodox Church here, because 1) I've already mentioned it a couple times (mostly due to my initial post), 2) I am not Orthodox, and 3) I am not trying to get people to become Orthodox - even though that seems to be the path that God is pulling ME along on, sometimes to my chagrin. So, yes, it's likely that my ecclesiastical views color my readings and understandings of some texts. But I don't think so in the case of 1 Cor 3.
if someone says there is no God then that automatically negates God in that persons mind. Which means that in fact someone could know about the existence of God or not because if there is no omniscient being in the universe then that fact negates omniscience period. Which would mean that omniscience doesn't exist thus, anyone could tell if there is a God or not after all. Right?
It is not evidence for a single designer, because there is no evidence for a single designer.
That doesn't mean that [they are] wrong. It just means they are using scientific evidence to reach their conclusions, and their conclusions aren't supported by scientific evidence.
